I have a sweet tooth. I’m pretty sure I get about 17 servings of fruit every day. That may not be a good thing, but I figure at least I’m eating whole, natural, unprocessed foods. Leave it to me to buy this chocolate drink while looking for vegetable juice at Whole Foods. In the end, I don’t regret it. This was so outrageously delicious and made a perfect after-yoga treat. I wasn’t planning on writing a review, but I feel like I need to give this product a shout out. Final verdict: two huge thumbs up!
What is it? Reishe Chocolate Coconut Milk Elixir. It’s basically chocolate milk, only better.
Who makes it? Rebbl Super Herbs
What’s in it? Coconut milk, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, reishe extract, sunflower lecithin, vanilla extract, pink Himalayan salt, and stevia.
Is it organic, vegan, and non-GMO? Yes, yes, and yes.
What’s reishe, anyway? It is a mushroom that is known to promote immune function, liver function and detoxification, cardiovascular health, and healthy aging.
How does it taste? Like chocolate milk. It is sweet, but not overly so. It is made from coconut milk so you get a slight hint of the coconut flavor, but it is surprisingly subtle. It’s chocolatey, creamy, and oh-so-yummy. Don’t worry about that reishe in the ingredient list. This drink has no detectable mushroom taste.
How many calories will this set me back? It is only 150 calories!
If you want a sweet treat, but are avoiding diet-busting desserts, this drink is a major win.
