Two Minute Sensory Bottle with Everyday Items

This DIY project is so easy it’s laughable. You can make it in two minutes with items you likely have in your pantry. Baby toys and activities don’t need to be complicated or expensive.

Here’s how you make it:

Step 1: Gather your supplies

– Empty water bottle, label removed (I used coconut oil to get rid of the sticky residue)
– Oil (I used canola, but any liquid oil works)
– Food coloring
– Hot glue gun or Super Glue

Step 2: Fill bottle 2/3 of the way with water.

Step 3: Add a drop of food coloring. Shake to mix.

Step 4: Fill remainder of bottle with oil.

Step 5: Secure lid with glue of choice.

Yep… That’s all there is to it! Feel free to add marbles, beads, Legos, glitter, or toys that float to make things even more interesting. Just make sure the lid is secure before giving it to your little one to play with.
